The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a diverse cast of personalities, and a exciting storyline including celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in strength within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and introduced the premier party of adventurers who will split off from the main group to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table consists of the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

With 13 cast members, it was obvious from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

Hence, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Fighters, Strategists, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

Per the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for players who enjoy a classically intense combat and conflict-driven story mode where non-violent answers are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem unsuited, but the actions of the third episode make it clear why these five characters are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party understands precisely where to head next after a intense opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the narrative’s action—used the foes for his own means, entering the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and stealing all the magical artifacts to auction.

Casimir then cleared his obligations and escaped to a fortified location in the northern region, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the companion and best friend, wants revenge.
  • Kattigan knows Timmony and cautions that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to kill the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could help the team reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a life debt to Wicander for his salvation and will now accompany him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that control the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and Wicander defied the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This means them no alternative but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

From episode three’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to round up the Questers and Planners tables.

Audiences can look forward to finding out which characters will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on next week.
