The House Oversight Committee has published a collection of around 70 photos obtained from the property of deceased convicted individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third such publication from a tranche of over 95,000 photos the body has obtained from Epstein's estate. It contains images of quotes from the literary work Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and censored pictures of women's foreign passports.

This disclosure arrives hours before the December 19th due date for the DOJ to disclose each records related to its probe into Epstein.

"These latest photographs pose further questions about precisely what the Justice Department has in its possession," remarked the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

Several of the photos published on recently feature Epstein conversing with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky on a private plane; Bill Gates seen next to a female whose features is censored; Steve Bannon seated at a workstation across from Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the latest wealthy, influential men to be seen in Epstein estate photos disclosed by the committee - previously published pictures also show US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, former US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Being pictured in the images is not indication of any wrongdoing, and many of the featured men have said they were never involved in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a statement issued alongside the photo disclosure, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein property holders did not supply background information or dates for the photographs.

"Photographs were selected to furnish the American people with openness into a typical cross-section of the photographs received from the property, and to give perspectives into Epstein's associates and his extremely alarming behavior," the release says.

The disclosure also includes multiple photos of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita inscribed in ink across various areas of a female's body, including her chest, lower extremity, hipbone, and back. Lolita recounts the tale of a adolescent who was exploited by a older literature professor.

One quote from the novel written across a female's upper body says, "Lolita's name: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the mouth to tap, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a series of photographs of female travel documents and official papers from nations around the world, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the details on the IDs, such as identities and dates of birth, is obscured but the committee stated in a announcement that the travel documents are associated with "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were interacting with".

A further photograph features Epstein sitting at a table intimately surrounded by three women whose features have been censored - a first has her hand on Epstein's torso under his clothing, and another individual is leaning to examine a adjacent computer. Epstein can be seen to be assisting the third put on a piece of jewelry.

Another photo released is a capture of digital messages from an unnamed person who states they have been provided "some girls" and are demanding "$1000 for each individual".

Photo Release Comes Ahead of DOJ Deadline

The committee has a vast number of photos in its custody from the Epstein property, which are "simultaneously graphic and mundane," its press release on recently explained.

The Congressional committee first issued a subpoena to the estate of Epstein, who passed away in a New York jail in 2019 while facing trial on charges of human trafficking, in August.

The photos and files the Epstein estate gave to the body are different than what is commonly termed "the Epstein files". Those files are papers within the Department of Justice's possession related to its separate investigation into Epstein.

In accordance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which President Trump made law in November, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to publish its documents. The scope of the contents found in the DOJ's files is unknown, and it's likely that a significant portion of the content will be extensively redacted, akin to House Oversight Committee materials
