Stateside entertainer Pat Finn, who appeared in beloved television series such as Friends, Seinfeld and The Middle, has died at the age of 60.
The skilled improv artist died at home in LA this Monday following treatment for cancer since 2022, according to news outlets.
"Pat saw everyone as a friend - solely future friends he didn't know yet," his family stated in a statement.
They continued that he had "lived his life fully - with happiness and energy".
His initial on-screen part was on the George Wendt Show in 1995, where he portrayed the lead character's sibling.
He also had a repeating character on Murphy Brown in the latter half of the 1990s.
He played the part of Joe Mayo in "Seinfeld" in the late 90s, portraying a party host known to delegate unpleasant chores to his guests.

Finn was perhaps best known for playing Bill Norwood in The Middle, appearing throughout eight seasons over nearly a decade.
His film credits include It's Complicated and Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups (2012).
Away from his acting parts, Finn was an improv performer and also taught at the University of Colorado, where he was a faculty member.
He was involved with a comedy group of six known as Beer Shark Mice.
"Pat coached, befriended and mentored countless students during his career and it would be difficult to find a person anyplace who has an unkind word to say about him," his relatives stated.
In a tribute, fellow actor Richard Kind noted there was "not a more kind, gentle, or funny, authentic human being you could encounter".
"Always positive, assisting others to improve and be funnier. An excellent dad and person," he shared on social media.
Finn is remembered by his wife Donna, his children, and his family.
