In a unexpected crossover event that challenges traditional expectations, the game developer has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Revealed

According to the official statement, "An unusual meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of forbidden practices and terrifying changes resonate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine sect.

The adventure centers on "peculiar tests and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Bonus Material

Players who accomplish the mission will receive an unique katana alongside several objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
